Sheikh Hasina Wajid and her sister are reportedly residing in a safe house in Delhi and want to stay there until they are granted political asylum in a third nation, according to Indian media.
Rehana Wajid, Sheikh Hasina Wajid's younger sister, is a British citizen, and Tulip Siddiq, her niece, is a Labour Party member of the British Parliament.
