Pakistan has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup.

 


Lahore: Finally, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 15-member squad for the T-20 World Cup.

Babar Azam will lead the team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The 15-member squad includes Saeem Ayub, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Khan, and Fakhar Zaman.

Aggressive batsmen Azam Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed, all-rounders Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan, and Abrar Ahmed are also part of the squad.

Fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Afridi, Abbas Afridi, and Naseem Shah are included in the team

The PCB stated that fast bowler Haris Rauf is fully fit and bowling in the nets.

The cricket board also mentioned that no traveling reserves have been kept with the team, and it is a very skilled and balanced squad.

It should be noted that the T20 World Cup will commence on June 2 in the USA and West Indies. The national team, included in Group A, will play its first match against the host USA on June 6, while the Pakistan-India match will take place on June 9.

Pakistan will face Canada on June 11, and on June 16, Pakistan will play its last group match against Ireland.
